1. Food wastage is a big problem - about a third of the food we produce is thrown away. That has huge impacts on both people and the environment.

    This video by the UN describes a number of possible solutions to the problem, from consumer education and a revision of sell-by dates to composting or biogas production. It’s a good illustration of the massive scale of our problem with wasting food, it’s huge economic and social costs, and what we can do as a whole to fix it. Worth a watch!
